Rubicon Overdrive is a sci-fi tabletop roleplaying game for children aged 9+ and families, combining exciting storytelling, tactical choices, problem solving, teamwork, and imaginative play.
The Summer Print & Play Pack is the easiest way to try the game. Everything has been prepared so you can print, cut out, and start playing.
In this free downloadable pack, you will guide Ceci, Levi, Sam, and Avni through a short three-scene adventure:
Sparring — learn the basics in the training arena.
Escape — break out of the armoury before it is too late.
Survival — flee through mysterious tunnels while being hunted.
The pack includes simplified core rules, premade Character Cards, premade Scene Cards, printable 40mm Tokens to represent your Characters in the game, and everything else you need to get started. It is designed to give you a real feel for Rubicon Overdrive gameplay while keeping setup quick and beginner-friendly.
One player takes the role of the Storyteller, setting up each Scene and controlling the challenges faced by the group. The other players are Challengers, working together to complete each Scene’s objective and tell an exciting story.
