WHAT IS RUBICON OVERDRIVE?

Rubicon Overdrive combines the elements of storytelling, role play, and craft hobby into a unique experience.

It is designed to be very simple to learn, and grow with you in a modular manner.

WHY DID WE CREATE IT?

While there are many amazing RPGs and tabletop games out there, we felt that none were doing a good job catering to the needs of a 9+ audience.

Our goal is to create an exciting experience that teaches the fundamentals of storytelling and hobby creativity to a younger audience.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Rubicon Overdrive is designed for kids 9+ but is of course excellent for anyone with a sense of storytelling adventure!

The miniatures do contain small parts so we always recommend adult supervision for anyone younger than 14, or any individuals who have a tenancy to place inedible objects in their mouth.

WHERE CAN I GET IT?

Rubicon Overdrive will be available directly from our web store.

We will also have boxes available for purchase at our in person events.

WHEN CAN I GET IT?

The Explorer Box is available right now!

Season 1 of Rubicon Overdrive will be released later this year as a series of episode boxes.

WHO ARE WE?

Rubicon Overdrive is a creation of Eliza Hilton and Rowan Forster.

Eliza is a long term Oxford resident, a former teacher and expert on early literacy, and a parent of a ten year old. She co-founded flowindia in Delhi in 2010 and has worked for Oxfam, Oxford University and the Fischer Family Foundation. Eliza thinks role-playing games are social and rewarding and help gets kids away from ubiquitous screens.

Rowan has been hooked on sci-fi stories, tabletop games, role playing, and all manner of nerdiness from a young age. He co-created The Brothers Grimdark YouTube channel, and has competed in several gaming Grand Tournaments, winning prizes for miniature painting and photography along the way. He is a firm believer in the combination of story, hobby, and gameplay to create extremely rich narrative experiences.
